Varsity Soccer Wins League, Prepares for CIF-SS Division 6 Playoffs
The Archer School for Girls Varsity Soccer team is enjoying another banner season, winning their third league title in the last four years. The team finished the league season with a 8-1-1 record and is 10-2-1 overall.  Despite the stellar record and a #10 ranking on MaxPreps, Archer has failed to crack the top ten of the 60-school CIF-SS Division 6 poll. The CIF-SS Division 6 playoff brackets will be announced from the CIF-SS office in Los Alamitos on Monday, February 13, and released on their website. By virtue of winning their league, Archer will host a first round game on Thursday, February 16. The game will be played at Santa Monica College at 6:00 p.m.
