An Archer girl's educational experience is enhanced by generous gifts of time, resources, and expertise from members of the Archer Community.
From parents and alumni to foundations and corporations, those who support Archer come from myriad backgrounds. What they share is a belief in Archer’s mission and a commitment to advancing it.
There are many ways to support The Archer School for Girls. Connecting Archer with prospective families and donors - including foundations and corporations - creates opportunities for Archer to broaden its community and deepen the School’s impact. Direct gifts of any size are always appreciated. Every connection and each gift to Archer makes a difference in the lives of our students.
The Advancement Office provides guidance, assistance, and information for those interested in furthering Archer's goals. We invite you to learn more about opportunities to support The Archer School for Girls.
Every fall, you are asked to participate in the Archer Fund at a level of support that is meaningful for your family. Your tax-deductible donation to the Archer Fund goes to work immediately and directly benefits your daughter’s Archer experience. Funds raised are fully used within the fiscal year. Your gift is a direct investment in Archer programs, including visual and performing arts, athletics, technology, faculty professional development, and financial aid.
As with most independent schools, tuition alone does not cover the true cost of providing an Archer education. We rely on contributions to the Archer Fund each year for a portion of the School’s annual operating budget. You are the key to our success. Since every student benefits from the programs that the Archer Fund supports, we ask every family to support the Archer Fund with a goal of 100% participation.
The Archer Fund kicks off in late September, and the pledge deadline is December 1, 2024. Donors have until June 30, 2025, to fulfill their pledge commitment.
The Archer Parent Association (APA) is a fun and social way to be involved with your daughter’s school. As an Archer parent, you are automatically a member of the APA. The APA’s signature event, The Archer Affair, is the School’s annual gala. Funds are raised through the auction, tickets sales, sponsorships, party book, and “Raise Your Paddle,” with all proceeds going directly to financial aid. Save the date for this year’s event on Friday, May 9, 2025.
The Campaign for Archer is the School’s capital campaign, raising funds for the future Athletics and Performance Center. Athletics and performing arts are integral to the Archer experience. Having a proper space on campus for our students to compete and perform at the highest levels is vital. In addition, it will be Archer’s first-ever indoor assembly space that is capable of fitting the entire community.
The Board of Trustees and Elizabeth English, Head of School, continue to reach out to select families for their support. If you would like more information about this campaign, please contact Sarah Rooney, Director of Advancement, at 310-873-7056 or srooney@archer.org.
