What new passion or interest did you discover while at Archer? While at Archer, I discovered my passion for journalism and yearbook. I have always loved writing and photography. Therefore, joining yearbook my freshman year was an easy choice, but I didn't expect to love it as much as I did. Yearbook has helped me grow as a student, a person, and a leader. I am so proud of how far I have come since my intro staffer year. I am interested in continuing journalism, as I apply to college and continue my education.
What advice would you share with a prospective student? A piece of advice I would share is to cherish every moment at Archer. This is most important in high school when the days may feel long and projects may feel stressful, but the year goes by so quickly. It's about making the most of those memories with your amazing teachers and incredible friends on this beautiful campus.
Which Archer tradition or activity do you look forward to each school year? Each school year, I look forward to Color Wars. This is a day where each grade is assigned a color and gets to participate in activities like door decorating, tug-of-war, mural decorating, and relay races. It is so exciting to see the courtyard and students decked out in color!
