Please provide a quote about your Archer experience. My Archer experience has encouraged me to stand in my excellence and carry out my full potential.
What new passion or interest did you discover while at Archer? Throughout my time at Archer, I have discovered my love for journalism and combined that with one of my older passions: fashion. I grew up as an ambitious and creative writer, but also loved to sew. Joining The Oracle staff in 9th grade allowed me to be introspective about my love for fashion through writing. Shortly after, I began thinking of ways to put my talent of sewing to another use. This past year has culminated in starting my nonprofit, and Archer club, called Fashion Moving Forward, which is dedicated to recycling clothes and teaching Archer students simple sewing skills. Looking back at this process, I realize that my experience as an Archer girl has helped me accomplish this goal.
What advice would you share with a prospective student? My advice to be a prospective student would be to not be afraid to try something new! There are so many exciting opportunities at Archer that you should take advantage of. Get involved, ask questions and make the most out of your Archer experience!
